The Wilmington Blue Rocks vs Frederick Keys game tonight was suspended in the top of the fourth with the Keys winning 6-1 with a runner on third base and two outs.
Sean Manaea started for the Blue Rocks and left too many fastballs up in the zone. He topped out at 96 mph (on two pitches), but mostly was around 93 mph (thank you to the Milwaukee Brewers scout in attendance).
Below are the videos I recorded from the game:
Manaea against Frederick catcher (and Baltimore prospect) Chance Sisco with two outs in the first:
Manaea against Austin Wynns in the 3rd inning:
Manaea against Wynston Sawyer in the 3rd inning. Centerfielder Alfredo Escalera makes a diving play, but it was ruled an RBI double:
The following are the four Blue Rocks at-bats in the bottom of the third against Keys starter Luis Gonazalez. First up is leadoff hitter Carlos Garcia:
Yender Caramo threw just one pitch before the tarp was placed on the field.
*I hope to have the photos from the game (the Blue Rocks wore pink jerseys that were auctioned off) and an interview with Manaea posted Friday (or at the latest on Saturday).
